    We are currently looking for a Full Time Case Analyst – Team Lead to join our team in Anaheim, CA.

    Responsibilities

    Assists the Director with oversight of the MMAS department in addition to responsibilities of assigned cases.

     

    Supervises the day-to-day activities of the case analyst team supporting a client dedicated medical management and accommodation services program. Provides direction and authorizes actions on escalated case referrals in accordance with client specific instructions and regulatory requirements. Develop and/or present training programs to employees to ensure compliance and consistency of MMAS policies and procedures. Perform daily audits and performs all duties of a Case Analyst on assigned cases.

     

    • Assists with oversight of our client’s medical management and accommodation services program and other programs as assigned according to federal and state guidelines and in compliance with client policies and procedures
    • Supervises a team of assigned personnel to complete the expected amount of work and to achieve department goals set by the Director 
      1. Oversees the quality and quantity of the work of the team
      2. Provides performance feedback
    • Develops and/or administers training to staff and works closely with them to answer questions and acts as liaison between them and our clients
    • Ensures that employees have the appropriate resources to perform their jobs
    • Provides direction on escalated or complex case issues or situations
    • Identify issues and concerns as they arise and bring them forward to the Director to develop a plan for resolution

     

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, associate’s degree or Medical Office Assistant certification preferred
    • At least one year of relevant supervisory experience
    • Two years of relevant work experience
    • Experience in medical management and/or a healthcare setting that supports requests for work accommodations, return-to-work/stay-at-work coordination, disability management or leave of absence certification
    • Demonstrated proficiency in working with others
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with peers and others to achieve common goals
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Must have the ability to think and write analytically
    • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.  Ability to maintain thoroughness and accuracy while meeting deadlines
    • Must be able to engage in extensive telephonic communications and be able to articulate ideas and policies in an easy to understand manner both telephonically and in person
    • Ability to work independently and as the leader of a team
    • Excellent judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
    • Positive, professional manner.  Ability to maintain confidentiality
    • Excellent written and verbal skills
      • Excellent presentation skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
      • Computer operating and data management skills
    • Demonstrated ability to improve work flows and processes
    • Willing to adjust to varying work schedules
    • Ability to work in a high production environment with daily deadlines
    • May require 2-4 weeks of training and orientation out-of-state at client’s request
