    We are currently looking for a Full Time Paramedic to work at a client site in E. Hartford, CT.


    • Provides first-aid and medical care and appropriate follow-up to site employees as requested/needed, as defined within scope of practice, following treatment care guidelines set forth by the Occupational Health Director and Client policy / procedures
    • Responsible for maintaining OSHA records and following OSHA guidelines
    • Maintain communication with the Clinic Physician regarding employee updates
    • Case management of occupational illness/injury
    • Case management of lost-time/absent employees for occupational and non-occupational injuries
    • Ensure employees have appropriate return-to-work clearances
    • Coordinate employee new hire exams, medical surveillance and exit exams
    • Regulatory testing as required (audio, spirometry, drug and alcohol, etc.)
    • Maintain audiometric records.
      • Send letters as needed and records STS’s when diagnosed as appropriate
    • Maintain database for SEG examinations and ensures employee notification for renewal as directed
    • Lead and provides health and safety training such as ergonomics, blood borne pathogen, hearing conservation, and hazard communication as needed
    • Performs First Aid/CPR/AED training for rescue team, first responders or other employees as directed
    • Coordinate wellness education and events




    • Must have current Connecticut Paramedic certification
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an EMS setting
    • Must have BLS, ACLS and CPR certification
    • Experience at industrial work locations in EMS setting preferred
    • Must possess decision making skills based on strong professional and clinical judgement
    • Requires the ability to work independently 
    • Must be able to demonstrate the ability of maintaining privacy and confidentiality; critical thinking skills; and take initiative on issues that arise daily
    • Able to manage multiple priorities
    • Must have the ability to maintain a professional approach with others in job-demanding, multitasking and/or project support situations
    • Ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences
    • The skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities;
    • Must be service-oriented and possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Must be competent in the Windows operating system environment with the ability to learn software as needed
    • Experience in EMR systems preferred. OHM experience a plus!
