    We are currently looking for a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work at a client site in Van Wert, OH.



    • Providing first aid and medical care to clinic patients as requested/needed, and within the Physical Therapy Assistant scope of practice, following treatment care guidelines set forth by the occupational Consulting Medical Director (CMD) and policy/procedure established for Onsite Clinic
    • Help employees prevent injuries to maintain proper alignment, movement and manage pain
    • Implement selected components of employee interventions including Ergonomic Assessments
      • Obtain data elated to interventions provided
      • Make modifications to interventions either to progress the employee as directed by the Medical Director or to ensure employee safety and comfort
    • Perform respirator fit testing as needed
    • Assist with hearing tests and spirometry tests as needed
    • Provide post-accident, pre-employment, for-cause and random drug testing as needed
    • May perform additional medical surveillance, testing or requirements as needed and in line with the PTA scope of practice
    • Provide education to employees as needed within scope of practice
    • Participate in general flow of clinic operations (answer phones, check mail, medical records, filing, copying charts, traffic control)
    • Assist with noise sampling, dust sampling, and fire extinguishers
    • Inventories supplies within clinic




    • Graduate of Physical Therapist Assistant School accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association
    • Valid Ohio Certification to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience
    • Must have current BLS certification
    • Experience at industrial work locations setting preferred
    • Must possess decision making skills based on strong professional and clinical judgement
    • Requires the ability to work independently 
    • Must be able to demonstrate the ability of maintaining privacy and confidentiality; critical thinking skills; and take initiative on issues that arise daily
    • Able to manage multiple priorities
    • Must have the ability to maintain a professional approach with others in job-demanding, multitasking and/or project support situations
    • Ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences
    • The skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities;
    • Must be service-oriented and possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Must be competent in the Windows operating system environment with the ability to learn software as needed
