    We are currently looking for a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner / Physician’s Assistant to join our client site in Cambridge, MA. 


    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Perform on-site physical, testing and assessments for work related injury and illness and treatment, pre-placement, return to work, fitness for duty and medical surveillance exams
    • Review and approve medical surveillance exams as per federal and state regulations
    • Provide diagnosis and treatment as required per federal and state regulations
    • Treat semi-urgent personal health issues
    • Perform travel health evaluations
    • Participate in wellness screenings/counseling
    • Complete reports and records as shall be reasonably required by the Company
    • Tour the manufacturing areas with sufficient frequency to understand the EH&S services required for the facility
    • Collaborate with outside providers regarding medical illness and treatments which impact employee work status and job safety
    • Discuss medical cases/clinical problems per telephone, fax or e-mail with EH&S personnel as needed
    • Interface with corporate medical personnel on questions that arise
    • Interact with ancillary medical providers in the community who serve Company in various capacities (e.g. physical therapy, occupational rehabilitation, fitness/trainers, etc.)
    • Participate in Company meetings such as visiting medical personnel





    • Knowledge of OSHA recordability, workers compensation, case management and government regulations preferred.
    • Must be able to demonstrate the ability of maintaining privacy and confidentiality; critical thinking skills;
    • Work independently and make decisions in accordance to company policy and procedures; and take initiative on issues that arise daily;
    • Able to manage multiple priorities. Must have the ability to maintain a professional approach with others in job-demanding, multitasking and/or project support situations;
    • Ability to create and edit written materials; ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences; the skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities; the ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports.
    • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Must have proficient computer skills (i.e., word, excel, databases)


    Physician's Assistant:

    PA-C License required. Unrestricted Massachusetts Physician Assistant license. Certified by NCCPA. Current DEA license. Current ACLS/BLS certification. 3-5 years of PA experience preferred.


    Nurse Practitioner:

    Bachelor’s Degree in nursing with 3-5 years’ experience. Experience in occupational medicine at an on-site program preferred. Must have current license as a registered nurse practitioner in the state of Massachusetts. Must have current ACLS/BLS certification.
