    We are currently looking for a Full Time File Clerk to join our team in Anaheim, CA office.

    Responsibilities

    About the Position:

     

    The position is responsible for:

    • Daily pulling of charts/records for various Departments
    • Delivers, transports, sorts, and files returned records
    • Inner-filing of miscellaneous medical records
    • Archival of Inactive records in house and at outside storage facilities
    • Maintain basement storage facility for all departments
    • Ensure all departments faxes, printers and copiers have adequate supplies
    • Serve as back up to the Business Office for supply inventory
    • Main point of contact for subpoenas and medical records requests
    • Maintain files and file room in an orderly, professional manner
    • Help Nurses with mailing / FedEx medical supplies to Clinics / Clients 

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Must have high school degree or equivalent
    • Experience in an office setting or medical office preferred
    • Must be able to work well under pressure to meet goals and deadlines
    • Attention to detail is a must
    • Should demonstrate professionalism in interactions with co-workers, physicians, clinics, and laboratory personnel
    • Must have demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of patient records
    • Must have good oral, written and computer skills 
    • Previous filing experience a plus 
    • Knowledge of medical terminology a plus
