    We are currently looking for a Part Time Occupational Health Physician to join our client site in Monaca, PA.


    • Work closely with clinic staff to provide on-site treatment and management of injuries and minimize the need for off-site medical treatment
    • Provide occupational health services (i.e., physicals, occupational surveillance exams, medical monitoring, return to work exams, etc.) as needed
    • Work closely with and oversee mid-level provider(s)
      • Provide mentorship/training as needed
    • Develop necessary medical policies and procedures
    • Provide emergency medical services to Site employees
    • Assist the Site HSSE Manager in classification of medical cases as they relate to safety reporting statistics
    • Prescribe medication as necessary, including recommended immunizations and follow-up boosters
    • Ensure clinic is managed according to the highest quality standards and complies with Site procedures and applicable health standards
    • Ensure the main clinic dispensary is properly secured
    • Work with appropriate clinic staff to coordinate stocking and control of medications and medical supplies
    • Plan and control clinic and equipment maintenance program to comply with applicable Federal, state and local standards
    • Implement and manage clinic operating procedures
    • Provide or arrange for training of site personnel in emergency treatment (e.g. CPR, first aid)
    • Review/oversee monthly clinic activity reports
    • Participate and support in incident investigations as requested by the Site HSSE Manager particularly in regards to mechanism of injury
    • Monitor the reporting activities of the medical facilities to ensure that all necessary reports are maintained according to schedule.
    • Maintain open communications and timely reporting with WorkCare and client Medical Directors, WorkCare supervisory staff and other vested interests regarding clinic operations and client requests 
    • May be required to be available on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays and after hours as needed to support the site/project schedule


    • Medical degree (MD or DO) from a U.S. accredited program
    • Active, in good standing and unrestricted Pennsylvania physician license
    • Must have Unrestricted DEA license 
    • Current ACLS/BLS certifications
    • 5+ years of experience delivering patient care in an occupational healthcare, primary care, urgent care or emergency room setting
    • Strong knowledge in the industrial management preferred
    • Excellent clinical, leadership, and interpersonal skills a must
    • Demonstrates the ability of maintaining privacy and confidentiality
    • Possess critical thinking skills and the ability to operationalize comprehensive , safe and effective occupational medical practice
    • Knowledge in OSHA regulations, Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) preferred
    • Comfortable managing traumatic injuries and occasional emergent situations (e.g., suturing, wound care, minor fractures, dehydration, diabetic emergencies, chest pain, respiratory difficulties, etc.).
    • Willing/able to make independent medical decisions in accordance with published standards, scope of practice and company policies and procedures.
    • Willing/able to take initiative in order to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge base to effectively manage care within an occupational setting.
    • Willing/able to manage and prioritize simultaneous tasks and to organize resources for goal attainment.
    • Maintains a professional demeanor/approach during stressful circumstances.
    • Able to create and modify written materials and to initiate and complete self-directed projects when needs are identified.
    • Maintains effective communication and management skills with a varied work force.
    • Ability to gather and analyze data, compile information and prepare reports.
    • Possesses strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
