    We are currently looking for a Full Time Clinical Assistant to work at a client site in Boron, CA.  

     

    Responsibilities

    Job Responsibilities

     

    • Answer phones, properly route calls and deliver all messages in writing
    • Uses Occupational Health Management (OHM) program and other client specific programs to access, enter, and edit patient demographic and health information
    • Orders medical and pharmaceutical supplies.  Stocks medical inventory and exam rooms
    • Maintains respiratory database indicating certification, fit test dates, and pulmonary function dates
    • Maintains staff certifications database and notifies medical staff when certifications and licenses are close to expiration
    • Manages OHM data entry for drug testing and rehab program, including DOT for two of client site locations using established protocols
    • Manage daily calling for random drug tests using established call procedures
    • Prepares weekly and periodic drug testing program reports
    • Prepares other reports as needed
    • Assists in physical exams, medical procedures, and administrative work as needed
    • Records vital signs, height, and weight as needed
    • Performs diagnostic testing to include alcohol and drug screening, audiogram, pulmonary function test, vision acuity as needed
    • Works collaboratively and demonstrates positive behaviors with peers, supervisors and clients
    • Other tasks as requested by Clinic Manager, Medical Director or Regional Occupational Health Manager

    Qualifications

    • Must have a High School degree or equivalent
    • Additional college education to Associates Degree preferred
    • At least 3 years’ experience working in an administrative function
    • Experience working in a clinic/medical setting preferred
    • Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant certification a plus
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Proficient company software skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Ability to learn new software
    • Strong typing skills required
    • Ability to work independently and with a team
    • Must be detail oriented
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all patient/employee information
