We are currently looking for a Full Time Intake Coordinator to join our Team in Salt Lake City, UT.

 

This position will be responsible for:

  • Answering and directing incoming calls to appropriate associates
  • Entering cases into database system

            Creating case by obtaining employee demographic information

            Send appropriate notification to the client
            Task Clinician follow-up

 

  • Review after hour messages and Clinician notes

            Create a case (if applicable)

            Enter documentation

            Send notification to the client

            Assign Clinician to created case

 

  • Providing assistance to WorkCare Clinicians in case follow up, clinic visitations, medical records and case notes
  • Contact clinics or hospitals to obtain employee medical records as needed
  • Enter and create cases received from other departments
  • Based on state guidelines schedule clinic visits for

                  Nurses

                  Onsite

                  II department

  • This position will also provide administrative support as needed to the Incident Intervention department.

Qualifications

  • Must have a High School degree or equivalent. College degree is highly preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience. Medical Assistant looking to do administrative work preferred.
  • Must have excellent computer skills including knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Requires a demonstrated ability to learn new software and maintain confidentiality.
  • Must have the ability to multitask and prioritize competing deadlines.
  • Medical terminology and background a plus.
